THE PHOTOGRAPHER
Thirsa Nijwening works as a fashion & commercial photographer and retoucher, based in Utrecht, The Netherlands. After completing two degrees, she decided to take the necessary steps to make her passion her career.
The main focus in Thirsa’s work is daylight and natural tones with an eye for storytelling. After mastering the basics, she also started to focus on getting more acquainted with retouching and post-production. The overall result are defined, soft images which align with brand values and identity to tell a story.
As seen within many projects, Japan is a big inspirational source for many of Thirsa her works. Having spend the majority of 2024 living in the capital Tokyo, she is now back in Utrecht. The drive to keep exploring will continue to inspire new projects and collaborations.
